More Than Knowledge

As most parents, we have big dreams for our kids. We want them to make things happen. Believe in themselves. Invent. Embrace failure. Push further. Travel the world. Create. Add value. Start businesses.  Know happiness. Bring joy to others. Serve their communities. Be of stout character. Know their talents and passions – do something with them. Channel their fears. Fix things. Understand their place in the world. Build and nurture meaningful relationships. Know when to fly their freak flag and know when to furl it. Understand and appreciate human nature.  See the mystery in the world. Love. Be good friends, spouses and parents. Enjoy life.

Knowing stuff isn’t real high on the list. Why is that the one thing that traditional schools focus on?
